B/S/C Shipping Policy

1. Scope


This Shipping Policy applies to purchases from B/S/C, including art objects, garment objects, limited products, one-of-one works, custom items, special orders, archive items, apparel, and related items purchased through bscrew.io, Shopify checkout, Shopify draft orders, or another B/S/C-approved purchase process.


B/S/C operates from Los Angeles, California and uses a request-based acquisition process. Shipping may be displayed at checkout or confirmed separately by B/S/C depending on the item, destination, value, carrier requirements, insurance requirements, customs requirements, and handling needs.


2. Request-Based Shipping Confirmation


Submitting an acquire request does not create a purchase or shipping obligation.


For certain items, especially high-value, fragile, limited, one-of-one, custom, oversized, archival, garment-object, or international items, B/S/C may confirm shipping details manually before completing a sale.


A sale or shipment may require confirmation of item availability, delivery destination, shipping method, carrier availability, insurance, signature requirement, handling requirements, packing requirements, taxes, duties, customs information, payment status, and delivery restrictions.


B/S/C may decline, cancel, or revise a transaction if shipping cannot be completed safely, lawfully, or on acceptable terms.


3. Shipping Scope


B/S/C may ship worldwide where postal or shipping services deliver, subject to carrier, customs, legal, insurance, payment, and operational feasibility.


Shipping availability is not guaranteed for every item or destination.


4. Shipping Costs


Shipping costs may be calculated at checkout or confirmed separately before the order is completed.


Shipping costs may vary depending on destination, item value, size, weight, insurance, packaging, carrier, signature requirement, special handling, customs requirements, or other shipment-specific factors.


Unless B/S/C confirms otherwise in writing, shipping charges are separate from the listed item price.


Applicable taxes, duties, customs fees, import fees, brokerage fees, insurance charges, and other destination-related costs may also apply.


5. Processing Time


Processing time is the time required to review, prepare, pack, verify, and release an item for shipment.


Processing time may vary depending on the item and order details.


High-value, fragile, limited, custom, one-of-one, archive, or garment-object orders may require additional preparation time.


B/S/C may need extra time for manual order review, payment verification, fraud-prevention review, condition confirmation, packaging, insurance, carrier scheduling, customs documentation, signature or delivery restrictions, and special handling.


Any shipping or delivery estimate is an estimate unless B/S/C expressly confirms a specific shipment commitment in writing.


6. Shipment Timing and Delays


B/S/C will make reasonable efforts to ship orders within the timeframe stated at checkout or otherwise confirmed in writing.


If no specific shipment timeframe is provided, shipment timing will depend on the item, payment status, preparation requirements, and applicable law.


If shipment is delayed beyond a confirmed timeframe, B/S/C may contact you with an updated estimate, request confirmation to continue with the delayed shipment, offer another available resolution, or provide a refund for the unshipped item where required by law.


B/S/C is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, strikes, access restrictions, incorrect address information, payment review, fraud review, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside B/S/C's reasonable control.


7. Carriers and Delivery Methods


B/S/C may use carriers or delivery services selected by B/S/C or made available through Shopify or other approved shipping systems.


B/S/C may require specific shipping methods for high-value, fragile, limited, or one-of-one items.


A shipment may require signature confirmation, insured shipping, tracked delivery, restricted delivery, adult signature where applicable, carrier pickup, special packaging, delivery appointment, or additional verification.


B/S/C may refuse to ship to certain addresses, including P.O. boxes, freight forwarders, hotels, temporary addresses, high-risk addresses, or locations where delivery cannot be completed safely or reliably.


8. Address Accuracy


You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.


B/S/C is not responsible for lost, delayed, returned, misdelivered, or undeliverable shipments caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or inaccessible address information.


If an order is returned to B/S/C due to address error, failed delivery, refusal, unpaid duties, or inability to deliver, B/S/C may require additional shipping fees before reshipping.


9. Risk of Loss


Risk of loss may transfer according to the applicable shipping terms, carrier rules, insurance terms, and order details.


For high-value or insured shipments, carrier rules and insurance requirements may affect claims, documentation, timing, and available remedies.


If tracking shows delivery to the confirmed address, B/S/C may treat the shipment as delivered unless a carrier investigation, insurance review, or applicable law requires otherwise.


10. Shipping Insurance


B/S/C may require shipping insurance for certain items.


Insurance availability, coverage limits, exclusions, claim requirements, documentation, inspection, and claim outcomes are subject to carrier or insurance provider rules.


If an insured shipment is lost or damaged, you must cooperate with B/S/C, the carrier, and any insurance provider, including by preserving packaging, providing photographs, signing statements, and supplying any requested documentation.


Insurance does not guarantee refund, replacement, or full recovery in every circumstance.


11. Delivery Problems


If a shipment is delayed, lost, misdelivered, marked delivered but not received, damaged, or otherwise affected by a delivery issue, contact B/S/C promptly at hello@bscrew.io.


B/S/C may require time to review tracking, contact the carrier, request an investigation, file a claim, or determine whether another resolution is available.


Do not discard packaging or shipment materials if damage or delivery irregularity is suspected.


12. Damaged Shipments


If an item arrives damaged, contact B/S/C within 48 hours of delivery.


Your message must include your order number or request reference, name and contact email, description of the damage, clear photographs of the item, clear photographs of the packaging, clear photographs of any visible shipping damage, and photographs of labels, tags, documents, accessories, or included materials if relevant.


You must keep the item, packaging, shipping box, labels, protective materials, tags, documents, accessories, and included materials until B/S/C completes review.


Failure to keep packaging or provide requested documentation may limit available remedies.


13. International Shipping


B/S/C may ship internationally where available and approved.


International shipments may be subject to duties, customs charges, import taxes, brokerage fees, local taxes, carrier fees, inspection, restrictions, delay, seizure, or other destination-country requirements.


Unless B/S/C confirms otherwise in writing, the buyer is responsible for all destination duties, customs charges, import taxes, brokerage fees, and related costs.


B/S/C is not responsible for customs delays, import restrictions, rejected imports, unpaid duties, carrier clearance delays, or destination-country requirements unless required by law or expressly agreed in writing.


International buyers are responsible for ensuring that an item can be lawfully imported into the destination country.


14. Customs Documentation


For international shipments, B/S/C may provide customs documentation based on the item, transaction, and shipping information.


B/S/C will not falsify customs values, product descriptions, origin information, or shipment documents.


Requests to mark an item as a gift, reduce declared value, or misstate shipment information may be refused.


15. Refused, Unclaimed, or Returned Shipments


If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, returned to sender, blocked by customs, or returned because duties, taxes, or fees were not paid, B/S/C may deduct shipping costs, return shipping costs, duties, taxes, carrier charges, storage fees, customs fees, insurance costs, and other related costs from any available refund where permitted by law.


Final sale terms still apply.


16. Split Shipments


B/S/C may ship items separately where appropriate.


If an order is split into multiple shipments, shipping charges, tracking numbers, delivery timing, insurance, and carrier requirements may vary by shipment.


17. Local Pickup or Special Delivery


B/S/C may offer local pickup, hand delivery, studio pickup, courier delivery, or special delivery for certain items at its discretion.


Any such arrangement must be confirmed in writing by B/S/C.


B/S/C may require identification, appointment confirmation, signature, or other verification before releasing an item.


18. No Guaranteed Delivery Date Unless Confirmed


Any delivery date shown by a carrier, Shopify, checkout, tracking system, or third-party service is an estimate unless B/S/C expressly confirms a guaranteed delivery date in writing.


B/S/C is not responsible for missed events, missed deadlines, business loss, styling schedules, travel plans, exhibition plans, resale plans, or other consequences caused by shipping or carrier delay.
